This 20% project came and left and so did the school year. We had started the 20% project early in the year and had until May. I think me and my partner louie didn't really know what to do in the beginning so we decided to do Savanna Baseball so it could be easier for us. We didn't really start the project till late in the year, we had tried to start the project but every time we tried to do it we either got lazy or didn't have the time to do it. I think me and my partner didn't do a good job on the whole project we didn't blog on our Savanna baseball blog, our presentation wasn't as good but I feel like the way we presented was good. This project was a pretty good project we just didn't do everything the way we should have and I feel like if we would done everything like we should have we would have had a really good project.

So baseball season has come to an end, varsity couldn't put it all together and didn't make it to CIF.They battled hard but didn't have enough to make it. Junior Varsity managed to go undefeated in Orange League the only team out of the three levels to do so. This season has been an amazing experience for me, I've meet a lot of new people. I wouldn't change anything that happened this year, even though things didn't go as we hoped to we're still a team and a family. I can't wait for next season, over the summer I'm going to work on what i need to work on in order to get better and make varsity. Next year is going to be a bounce back year for the Varsity team, next year I feel like they are going to have a good year and also win Orange League.

For the past couple weeks we've been doing batting practice, baserunning, fielding, and other stations. We have only three games left in our season and we had a game on Wednesday against Century and it ended in a 10-10 tie. It was a hard ending to the game, we missed a lot of opportunities to end the game but our infield couldn't get the balls that were hit to them and thats what cost us the game. We were hitting pretty good when we needed runs our team came through. It all came down to our fielding and they didn't come through. Another thing that hurt us a lot was all the walks that we gave. All in all we are mad and ready to have them come to our house and play our hearts out and actually get the results we deserved in the first place.Displaying photo.PNG

Our season is coming to an end, with only one game left to go the junior varsity team are going for an undefeated season, varsity is just trying to clinch a spot in CIF, and frosoph is trying to end Katella's undefeated season. Our team (frosoph) didn't have the season they were expected to have. We are 4-6-1 and this Friday we are playing Katella who are undefeated in league. This week we played them on Tuesday and lost 12-3. Our pitching didn't come through and our hitting was putting the ball in play we just couldn't execute. Today is also going to be a really hot day, in the hundreds but we are going to stay hydrated and play our hearts out in our last game of the year. After season we hope that Varsity makes it to CIF; after season we get leave at the bell and thats basically I for the year and school year.Displaying photo.JPG

With only a couple more weeks of the baseball season left Junior Varsity is going for an undefeated Orange league season and they are at top of the Orange League. Varsity is still fighting for the top of the Orange League. This week Frosophs playing a non-league game against Firebaugh, on Wednesday Frosoph defeated Firebaugh 6-4. Frosoph plays them again today @ Firebaugh. JV and Varsity both played Magnolia Wednesday, Jv won 11-0 and varsity won 10-1. They play today against Magnolia at home. This season has been a really fun experience, I've met a lot of new people and I've liked the environment of baseball. I love being able to come out and play the sport I've loved ever since I was a little kid. I'm going to enjoy my next two years in the baseball program.Displaying photo.JPG

With the baseball season only have a month left of games the Savanna Rebels are fighting for the orange league championship. The varsity team is 3-2 in league and is playing today against Anaheim high school. This is a big game for the varsity team since they had a tough loss on Wednesday in an 8th inning walk off by Anaheim. So far my team the Frosoph is 1-4 in league and have to have a miracle comeback to win the league title. Our team is going to fight until the last game is over even if we don't win the orange league title we still but all we had into all the games we played. I got to say the Junior Varsity team has been on hot one, they are 5-0 in league and are on top in the orange league. They still got to battle these last games to stay on top.

Season is just around the corner, there is two weeks left til season begins and start having games every week. We are going to start getting our equipment for season, we already got our hats and cleats we are still waiting for people to turn in their money for the rest of the equipment. We are going to have to stay longer at practice. Our first game preseason game is on March 1st against west torrence at savanna. We have a scrimmage game in two weeks at savanna against troy. Savanna Rebels are ready for season and to contend for an Orange League championship. The team seems ready to contend and play hard. Coach always tells the only way we are going to win is one throw strikes, put the ball in play, and play catch.
